## Notes

- Anti-dive is the braking counterpart of anti-squat: geometry that limits how far the front compresses when braking. On a full-size car it is a percentage: the height where the tyre-force line through the side-view instant centre crosses the CG plane, divided by CG height (Formula1-Dictionary).
- On RC cars it is the front inner hinge-pin angle with the rear mount higher; a steeper angle adds anti-dive and corner-entry steering, reduces front weight transfer under braking and decreases caster (CompetitionX).
- The file is a reference example built by Xem Studio from the numbers above (Reference 1/10 off-road: track 250 mm and 90 mm wheel+tyre (EFRA maxima); wheelbase illustrative. Front-axle variant.). Sizes the sources do not fix are illustrative; scale the example to your own vehicle.

## Sizes

| parameter | value or range | source |
|---|---|---|
| Anti-dive % definition | (force-line height at CG plane / CG height) x 100 | Formula1-Dictionary |
| Example | 50% = crosses halfway to CG | Formula1-Dictionary |
| RC steeper pin angle | more anti-dive, more entry steering, less caster | CompetitionX |

## Questions

**What does 50% anti-dive mean?**

The braking force line crosses the CG plane halfway between ground and CG (Formula1-Dictionary).
