## Notes

- Anti-squat controls how much the rear compresses under acceleration. On RC cars it is the angle of the rear inner hinge pins, front higher than rear (CompetitionX); on full-size cars it is set by the side-view instant centre relative to the CG height (Formula1-Dictionary).
- More anti-squat gives more forward drive on high grip and less on-power steering; less lets the rear squat for grip on loose or bumpy tracks (CompetitionX; Tekno).
- Most 1/10 off-road cars start around 2-3 deg (CompetitionX).
- Used on: 1/10 off-road buggies.
- The file is a reference example built by Xem Studio from the numbers above (Reference 1/10 off-road: track 250 mm and 90 mm wheel+tyre (EFRA maxima); wheelbase illustrative.). Sizes the sources do not fix are illustrative; scale the example to your own vehicle.

## Sizes

| parameter | value or range | source |
|---|---|---|
| 1/10 off-road starting point | 2-3 deg | CompetitionX |
| Insert labels | 0 (flat), 2, 3, 4 deg | CompetitionX |
| Percentage method (anti-dive example) | 50% = force line crosses halfway to CG height | Formula1-Dictionary |

## Questions

**High grip or low grip?**

High grip: more anti-squat; low grip: less (CompetitionX).
