## Notes

- The camber link is the RC car's upper arm. Its length sets how fast camber changes with suspension travel, and its end positions set the roll centre (Tekno).
- A shorter link gives more camber gain, more corner-entry steering and traction but less stability; a longer link gives less camber gain and more stability (Tekno). Lowering the inboard end or raising the outboard end increases chassis roll (CompetitionX).
- The file is a reference example built by Xem Studio from the numbers above (Reference 1/10 touring car: wheelbase 260 mm (AARCMCC ISTC 250-270), track 190 mm (EFRA width without body), 50 mm = EFRA rim limit.). Sizes the sources do not fix are illustrative; scale the example to your own vehicle.

## Sizes

| parameter | value or range | source |
|---|---|---|
| Shorter link | more camber gain and steering, less stable | Tekno setup guide |
| Longer link | less camber gain, more stable | Tekno setup guide |
| Inboard lower / outboard higher | more chassis roll | CompetitionX quick guide |

## Questions

**Why is it called a camber link?**

Its turnbuckle sets static camber and its geometry sets camber gain.
