- Car vent slats are not standardized: thickness, pitch and depth change from car to car and between the louvres of one car.
- Logitech's Smartcar Vent Mount is made for slats 1–5 mm thick and may not work on round, deeply recessed or unusually shaped vents. That is a range for one product, not a vent size.
- No slat geometry is drawn: a single slat size from a range would not be exact. Measure the slat thickness and the gap to the next slat in your car, or wait for a scan.
- The phone side of most vent clips is a 17 mm ball (see phone-mount-ball-17mm).
