## Notes

- Millimetres. DIN 6796 conical spring washers for bolted connections (the 08/2009 edition supersedes 10/1987). fasten.it prints the bore as 'd' and the outside diameter as 'd1' without defining them; Westfield names the bore d1 (class H14) and the OD d2 (class h14). Both give the same numbers. Columns here: bore, OD, thickness s, free height h min / max, approximate load to flat (N, fasten.it only; Westfield's page has no force column) and approximate mass in kg per 1000 pieces.
- Agreement: fasten.it and Westfield give identical bore, OD and h for M2 to M30; Böllhoff's stainless sheet agrees on d1, d2, s and h for M3, 3.5, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16. One difference: for M7 fasten.it prints s 1.8, Westfield 1.75 (M7 has no file). fasten.it prints a 37.2 bore for M36, which Westfield's page does not reach. The load column is as printed by fasten.it and is not a spring rate.
- DIN 6796 is a single-cone washer for taking up play and keeping preload in bolted joints; it is not the DIN 2093 Belleville disc spring (see disc-springs-din-2093, which has load-deflection series). Wave forms: wave-spring-washers-din-137.
- Files: a plain revolved cone with the published bore, OD and thickness s, drawn at the maximum free height h (inner edge up). h min / h max are printed as a range, so the file shows the upper limit only; no chamfers, radii or edge rounding are published as numbers. Böllhoff (maker) sells these with CAD per article; linked, not copied.
