## Notes

- A daggerboard is a removable foil that slides vertically through a trunk to give lateral resistance; it can be raised downwind or in shallow water to cut drag (Wikipedia).
- Long, thin boards give better lift-to-drag, but a daggerboard is usually damaged if it hits the bottom, whereas a pivoting centreboard can kick up (Wikipedia).
- Used on: Sunfish, Laser, Mirror Dinghy.
- The file is a reference example built by Xem Studio from the numbers above (Illustrative.). Sizes the sources do not fix are illustrative; scale the example to your own vehicle.
