## Overall (mm)

| length | width | height |
|---|---|---|
| 80.0 | 80.0 | 20.0 |

**Exact dimensions.** True size, with no printing tolerance added.

## Notes

- Woodworking joint drawn for 3D printing: the parts lock together by shape, so a print can be joined without glue or screws. Drawn at true size with the parts line to line (zero gap) in their assembled position — add your printer's fit allowance to the mating faces (your AI or slicer can do this).
- The tenon's hole is offset toward the shoulder, so driving the peg pulls the joint tight — no clamps or glue.
- The peg overlaps the tenon by the 1 mm drawbore offset on purpose: that overlap is what pulls the joint tight.

## Sizes

| dimension | value |
|---|---|
| stock | 20 × 20 mm square |
| parts | stile, rail, peg |
| tenon | 15 × 6.67 mm, 15 mm long |
| peg | Ø5 mm |
| offset | 1 mm: the tenon's hole is nearer the shoulder |
| assembles | tenon in, peg driven through: it bends and pulls the shoulder tight |
| holds | pull-out, and keeps the shoulder closed |

## Questions

**How much offset for a drawbore?**

1 mm here for a Ø5 peg in 20 mm stock; about 1/16 in is usual in furniture.
