## Overall (mm)

length
---
100.0

**Exact dimensions.** True size, with no printing tolerance added.

## Notes

- UPE are parallel-flange channels (ArcelorMittal / DIN 1026-2): UPE 200 is 200 mm deep and 80 mm wide with flanges of constant 11 mm thickness, unlike the tapered UPN.
- The only radius printed is the root radius r (ArcelorMittal Orange Book, which agrees with Kocaer's DIN 1026-2 table for UPE 80 to 270). Flange tips are drawn square.
- Files are 100 mm long extrusions along X; web back at y = 0, flanges toward +y. Drawn area is within 3 % of the published area. 10 of the 14 sizes have files.

## Questions

**Is UPE the same as UPN?**

No: UPE flanges are parallel and constant thickness; UPN flanges are tapered (about 8 %).
