- The 17 Pro / Pro Max camera plateau spans the full width of the back; the Air has a full-width bar near the top; 17 and 16e keep a corner island. Depth figures exclude the camera: add about 4 mm for the Pro plateau when sizing a pocket.
- Case design: corner radius, Action button, Camera Control, USB-C and speaker positions are all in the Accessory Design Guidelines drawings; the overall numbers here are enough for a shelf, dock or holder with 0.5 mm clearance per side.
- A measured Xem scan of each body is planned: exact plateau height and lens positions are what the published drawings leave to the accessory maker.
