# JGA25-370 gearmotor: Ø25 gearbox on a 370 can, Ø4 D-shaft

> What are the dimensions of a JGA25-370 gear motor?

- Category: Electronics › Motors
- Kind: Hardware
- Basis: RCDrone JGA25-370 listing (drawing values); the can matches Mabuchi's RF-370CA (Ø24.4 × 30.8). Envelope only: the outside of the motor at its published sizes. The windings, magnets, brushes and bearings inside are not drawn.

**Exact dimensions.** Every file is drawn at true size with no printing tolerance. The holes and pins that meet another part are listed below under Mating features, with the fit each joint needs; open those by your printer's or process's clearance before making the part.

## Notes

- Envelope only: the outside of the motor at its published sizes. The windings, magnets, brushes and bearings inside are not drawn.
- A Ø25 spur gearbox in front of a 370 can (Ø24.4 × 30.8). The gearbox length L depends on the ratio: 17 (4.4:1, 9.6:1), 19 (21.3:1), 21 (35.5:1, 46.8:1), 23 (78:1, 103:1), 25 (171:1, 226:1), 27 (377:1, 500:1). Files: L = 17, 21 and 27.
- Output: a Ø4 shaft on the gearbox axis with a D-flat 3.5 across, 8 mm long at the tip; the shaft stands 12.1 mm from the gearbox face, including a Ø7 × 2.5 boss.
- Two M3 tapped holes 4.5 deep on 17 mm centres in the gearbox face, drawn at the major diameter.
- The rear boss (Ø6.4), terminals and any encoder are not drawn. The listing notes sizes can vary between batches.
- A gearmotor turned backwards by an engine runs the gearbox as a step-up; DIY Stirling builders use small gearmotors this way as low-speed generators.
