## Overall (mm)

| length | width | height |
|---|---|---|
| 130.0 | 20.0 | 20.0 |

**Exact dimensions.** True size, with no printing tolerance added.

## Notes

- Woodworking joint drawn for 3D printing: the parts lock together by shape, so a print can be joined without glue or screws. Drawn at true size with the parts line to line (zero gap) in their assembled position — add your printer's fit allowance to the mating faces (your AI or slicer can do this).
- A splice with a narrow neck and a wedge-sided head (the gooseneck): the head's taper draws the members tight as it drops in.

## Sizes

| dimension | value |
|---|---|
| stock | 20 × 20 mm square |
| parts | male, female |
| neck | 6 mm wide, 10 mm long |
| head | 14 mm wide tapering to 10 mm, 15 mm long |
| assembles | drops in from above |
| holds | pulling apart lengthwise, more strongly than the dovetail |

## Questions

**What does kama mean?**

Kama (鎌) is a sickle; the head's shape gives the joint its name.
