## Notes

- Kärcher prints its hose size as a nominal width (DN, shown as 'ID 35' / 'ID 40' in the technical-data table) and does not print the hose's real inside or outside diameter, or the bayonet or clip dimensions. The only other figure is the shipping-size line of the bent hose: 2550 x 35 x 35 mm.
- Clip 1.0 / bayonet 1.0 fit machines made up to 2016; clip 2.0 / bayonet 2.0 fit machines from 2017 (Kärcher's footnotes). The two generations differ, but the pages give no sizes for either.
- Only the numbers each source prints are listed, in the source's own words for what they measure. 'Nominal family' is the maker's own size label; it is not a measurement. Hose 'ID / OD' is the hose body, 'cuff / connection' is the end fitting, 'tool or accessory port' is the other side of an adapter. Inch figures are as printed; the mm in brackets are 25.4 mm per inch. A taper is listed only where a source prints it, and none does. Xem does not make these parts; measure your own hose before you size an adapter.

## Questions

**What does DN 35 mean on a Kärcher hose?**

Kärcher's technical-data table prints 'ID 35' (the description says DN 35): a nominal width. The real ID, OD and connector sizes are not printed.

**Is Kärcher bayonet 1.0 the same for DN 35 and DN 40?**

Yes: the page says the bayonet 1.0 connection is the same across nominal widths 35, 40 and 50.
