# Mug LTD chamber ring Ø76 × 23

> How tall should the chamber of a small LTD Stirling engine be?

- Category: Hardware › Stirling & thermoacoustic
- Kind: Hardware
- Basis: 7 mm wall so the Ø5 syringe port at x 35 still opens into the chamber; 23 tall so a 6 mm displacer travels 15 with 1 mm at each end

**Exact dimensions.** Every file is drawn at true size with no printing tolerance. The holes and pins that meet another part are listed below under Mating features, with the fit each joint needs; open those by your printer's or process's clearance before making the part.

## Notes

- Ø76 bore, Ø90 outside (7 wall), 23 tall; 5 × Ø3.4 for the chamber screws on R41 and 2 × M3 tapped 2 deep in the top face at (35.5, ±20.5) for the crank pedestal's foot.
- Chamber 23 − displacer 6 = 17 free; the 15 mm stroke leaves 1 mm at the top and bottom of travel. 15 mm (7.5 throw) is the shortest stroke in the Ø3-bore crank discs whose con-rod eye (R4) clears a Ø3 shaft.

## Mating features (exact size; open press / slide / run / socket by your process clearance, leave designed and clamp as drawn)
