> How do I join a 2 mm displacer rod to a con-rod?

- Category: Hardware › Stirling & thermoacoustic
- Kind: Hardware
- Basis: My geometry: a Ø2 socket for the rod and the same 12 × 12 fork as the plunger clevis

**Exact dimensions.** Every file is drawn at true size with no printing tolerance. The holes and pins that meet another part are listed below under Mating features, with the fit each joint needs; open those by your printer's or process's clearance before making the part.

## Notes

- Ø8 shank with a Ø2 × 10 socket from the bottom (the rod presses in), fork with a 5 mm slot and a Ø3 pin hole 51.5 above the bottom; on the mug LTD it carries rod-2x100's top to the height of the plunger clevis's pin, so both con-rods are 45 long.

## Questions

**What joins the displacer rod to the con-rod on the mug LTD?**

This clevis: rod in its Ø2 socket, con-rod on a dowel-3x12 through its fork.
