## Notes

- HPA's starting point is to put the forward third of the wing over the boot and the rear two-thirds behind it, with the leading edge level with the roofline seen from the front.
- Higher and further rearward gives more rear aero balance; lower positions interact with the body and floor but too low puts the wing in the cabin wake and performance drops substantially (HPA).
- RC classes constrain this by rule: touring-car wings must stay below the roofline (AARCMCC).
- The file is a reference example built by Xem Studio from the numbers above (Reference wing as in single-element entry.). Sizes the sources do not fix are illustrative; scale the example to your own vehicle.

## Sizes

| parameter | value or range | source |
|---|---|---|
| Fore-aft starting point | front 1/3 over boot, rear 2/3 behind | HPA rear wing |
| Height starting point | leading edge level with roofline (front view) | HPA rear wing |
| RC touring car wing height | must be lower than the roof line | AARCMCC |
| RC touring car rear overhang | max 10 mm beyond body incl. bumper | AARCMCC |

## Questions

**Is higher always better?**

Higher gets cleaner air, but rules often restrict it; lower positions add interaction but risk the cabin wake (HPA).
