## Notes

- A 3-link uses two lower links and one upper link; on its own it rotates the axle about a moving pivot and can sway. Adding a panhard bar perpendicular to the links locates the axle sideways and gives smooth, linear articulation without that sway (Axial).
- The panhard's mid-point sets the axle's roll centre (NC4x4).
- Used on: Axial SCX10 front (3-link).

## Sizes

| parameter | value or range | source |
|---|---|---|
| Panhard roll centre | mid-point of panhard rod | NC4x4 forum |
| 3-link without panhard | some axle sway in articulation | Axial |

## Questions

**3-link or 4-link?**

Axial notes the plain 3-link sways; adding a panhard or triangulating fixes that.
