## Notes

- Rear toe-in adds stability on power and under braking at a small cost in top speed (Tekno), and improves cornering stability on full-size cars (Wikipedia).
- EuroRC gives 1-4 deg rear toe-in for RC cars and says never to run rear toe-out because it causes snap oversteer.
- The file is a reference example built by Xem Studio from the numbers above (Reference 1/10 off-road: track 250 mm and 90 mm wheel+tyre (EFRA maxima); wheelbase illustrative.). Sizes the sources do not fix are illustrative; scale the example to your own vehicle.

## Sizes

| parameter | value or range | source |
|---|---|---|
| RC rear toe-in | 1-4 deg | EuroRC set-up guide |
| Rear toe-out | avoid (snap oversteer) | EuroRC set-up guide |
| Effect | more on-power and braking stability, less top speed | Tekno setup guide |

## Questions

**Is rear toe-out ever used?**

EuroRC advises never, because of snap oversteer.
