# Frame for the 2 in tri-clamp elbow diaphragm alpha

> What holds the tri-clamp elbow diaphragm alpha together?

- Category: Hardware › Stirling & thermoacoustic
- Kind: Hardware
- Basis: Positions from the engine layout (tools/gen_diaphragm.py alpha_layout); the feet seats are cut by the fittings' own outer surfaces
- Page: https://xemstudio.com/objects/tri-clamp-diaphragm-alpha-frame/ · JSON: https://xemstudio.com/api/geometry?object=tri-clamp-diaphragm-alpha-frame · Plain text: https://xemstudio.com/objects/tri-clamp-diaphragm-alpha-frame/sheet.txt

**Exact dimensions.** Every file is drawn at true size with no printing tolerance. The holes and pins that meet another part are listed below under Mating features, with the fit each joint needs; open those by your printer's or process's clearance before making the part.

## Notes

- One piece: a base plate, a foot under the elbow (its seat is the elbow's outer surface) that carries the cold leg, a foot under the capped run of the hot tee, and a diagonal strut from the base up to a bearing block with two 625 pockets at the crank.
- The strut runs 40–56 mm behind the plane of the legs, clear of every clamp and of the flywheel.

## Mating features (exact size; open press / slide / run / socket by your process clearance, leave designed and clamp as drawn)
