Turnbuckles, DIN 1480 forged open type, M6–M56: body dimensions + hook / eye closed length and adjustment range — dimension sheet Source: Xem Studio, https://xemstudio.com/objects/turnbuckles-din-1480/ (sheet CC BY 4.0) Basis: fasten.it's DIN 1480 table (forged open turnbuckles, 2005-09, M6 to M56) and Carl Stahl's hook / eye turnbuckle variant list (thread, adjustment range, closed length); numbers only Catalog version: 2026-10-20 Sizes: see table below - DIN 1480 rows (mm): d1 thread, d2, e, f, h min, l1, m1 min, m2 max and the approximate weight per 1000 pieces, in the order the fasten.it page prints them. The page prints its headers without clear separators and does not define the letters, so the columns here follow print order and the letters are not interpreted. DIN 1480:2005-09 replaced the 1975 edition. This is the forged open body (a frame with two threaded ends), not the closed tube body. - Carl Stahl rows are the finished hook-and-eye turnbuckles it lists as DIN 1480 products: adjustment range and length closed, in mm, M6 to M36. They are a different quantity from l1 above (for M6 closed length is 172 mm against l1 = 110 mm), because the end fittings (hook, eye) are added to the body, so the two are shown in separate rows and are not compared. The Carl Stahl page prints no WLL or other dimensions in the part read. - Load ratings are not given in the parts read: see the maker's WLL for the exact fitting. - No file: the frame and thread-end section are not given as numbers in the sources read.
