## Notes

- G-450 Red-U-Bolt clip dimensions A to H are in inches, as printed, with the rope size each clip fits (in and mm) and the stock number. The catalog page does not define the letters in text, so none is interpreted. Page markers: the 1/8 in (3-4 mm) and 3/16 in (5 mm) sizes have an electro-plated U-bolt and nuts, and the 2-3/4 in and 3-1/2 in bases are cast steel. One clip size covers a rope range at some sizes (7/16 - 1/2 in rope: stock 1010131; 9/16 - 5/8 in: 1010177).
- G-429 Fist Grip (double-saddle) clips: the spec sheet prints only the dimensions C, D, E, G and N, and a table of 'clip application': minimum number of clips, rope to turn back (in) and torque (ft·lbf) per clip size. Those application values are for the Fist Grip clip. The G-450 application table was not on the page read (the page says 'see application and warning information'), so no clip count, turn back or torque is given for the G-450 here.
- McMaster-Carr's cast iron clamp rows are what its category page prints: clamps required, rope turn back, base width and required torque by rope diameter (1/16 to 1-1/2 in rope in the filter, 3/32 to 1 in in the rows). They are for a different clamp (cast iron, 'not for lifting' family) than the Crosby forged clips; do not mix the values.
- Wire rope diameters: the G-450 and G-429 lists show the rope sizes each clip covers, in inches and mm. The clip counts in the G-429 table are the sheet's minimums for that clip; the sheet does not define 'turn back' further.
