Notes
- HAT: 65 × 56.5 mm board, four Ø2.75 mm holes on 58 × 49 mm matching the Pi, 2×20 socket 2.54 mm; stacks at 11 mm above the Pi board (16 mm with the 11 mm standoff). Rounded corners R3.
- Bonnet: 65 × 30 mm (Pi Zero outline), two holes 58 mm apart (some four on 58 × 23 mm). Bonnets fit any Pi.
- PiTFT 2.8 covers the HAT outline with the display centred; PiTFT 3.5 overhangs to 85 × 56 mm. RGB Matrix Bonnet and BrainCraft add 10–20 mm of height for connectors and the display.

What are Raspberry Pi HAT dimensions?
65 × 56.5 mm with four Ø2.75 mm holes on 58 × 49 mm, the same as the Pi's; 11 mm standoffs between the Pi and the HAT.
What is the difference between a HAT and a Bonnet?
Size: a HAT is 65 × 56.5 mm (full Pi width), a Bonnet is 65 × 30 mm (Pi Zero width); both use the 40-pin header and fit any Pi.
How much height does a HAT add?
About 11 mm board-to-board plus the component height; plan 25 mm above the Pi board for most HATs, 30 mm for the PiTFT with its display.
