Bayonet twist-lock joint
How do you make a 3D printed bayonet mount? · Hardware · basis: Xem Studio design — geometry computed in the generator from traditional proportions
Also called: bayonet mount, bayonet connector, twist lock 3d print, bayonet joint, quarter turn lock, bayonet lid, cierre de bayoneta, conector bayoneta, Bajonettverschluss, Bajonettverbindung

Notes
- Woodworking joint drawn for 3D printing: the parts lock together by shape, so a print can be joined without glue or screws. Drawn at true size with the parts line to line (zero gap) in their assembled position — add your printer's fit allowance to the mating faces (your AI or slicer can do this).
- Push and twist: pins on the plug run down the straight part of the L slots and lock in the short turn — lids, lens mounts, quick-release fittings, vacuum and dust ports.
