  • RHS (rectangular hollow section, also called rectangular tube or box section) to EN 10219: designation H x B x t, H the long outside side, B the short side, t the wall, all in mm. The same tube is sold in the US as rectangular HSS (aisc-hss-rectangular-square) in inch sizes.
  • Corner radius: EN 10219-2 gives a band for the outside radius, 1.6t to 2.4t for walls up to 6 mm, 2.0t to 3.0t for 6 to 10 mm, 2.4t to 3.6t above 10 mm (Nippon Steel Kenzai and the Ozdemir Boru declaration both print it). The radii in the table and the files are the Roymech section-table values, the middle of each band: 2t up to 6 mm wall, 2.5t at 6.3 and 8 mm, 3t at 12 mm and over, with inside radius = outside radius minus the wall. A real tube from one mill can sit anywhere in the band.
  • Sizes: every row of the Roymech table with H up to 100 mm (58 sizes). The table goes to 400 x 300 mm; larger sizes are not listed here.
  • Files: 18 sizes drawn as 100 mm long extrusions along X, B across (y), H up (z), z = 0 on the bottom face. Each drawn section area matches the printed area within 1.5 %; the table check also confirms mass = 0.785 kg/m per cm2 within 1.5 % and ro - ri = t on every row.
  • Nominal dimensions only: EN 10219-2 tolerances on size, wall (-10 %), squareness and corner radius are not applied.
  • McMaster-Carr's metric rectangular tube (12, 25, 40, 50, 55, 100 mm) is EN 10305-5 precision tube, not EN 10219; it is linked as a CAD source, not as an equivalent.
