- HIWIN EG is the low-profile ball-type guideway: EGR rail, EGH square block in a short (SA) and long (CA) body, EGW flange blocks (not read). Dimension letters as in HIWIN's catalog: W / WR width, H / HR height (H from the rail bottom to the block top), B across and C along the block holes, L1 body length and L overall length, M x l thread and depth, T hole depth, D x h x d rail counterbore, P hole pitch, E end distance.
- Source and its limits: all numbers are from HIWIN's EG Series 2025 catalog as hosted by Motion Industries, read in two extractions that agree. It is a single document, and its table layout merges cells between the SA and CA rows, so only what is unambiguous is shown: the SA block rows in full, and for the CA blocks only the body length L1 and overall length L (the printed 'H' of the CA rows, 26 / 32 / 35 / 40 mm, is the C hole spacing, which is why a CA row's H is not shown). The rail data is in two tables: EGR_T (tapped from below, S x thread depth h) for sizes 15 to 35, and EGR_U ('large mounting hole, rail mounting from top') for which only sizes 15 and 30 had D, h, d printed in the text read; the EGH block tables also list the standard rail bolts M3 x 16 (15), M5 x 16 (20), M6 x 20 (25) and M6 x 25 (30), which belong to the standard-counterbore rail EGR_R whose D, h and d were not printed in the text read. (The M3 x 16 and M6 x 25 for EG size 15 and 30 differ from the M4 x 16 and M8 x 25 of the large-hole EGR_U rail.)
- End distance: E = 20 mm standard on all rails; for cut rails E should not exceed half the pitch (30 mm for 60 mm pitch, 40 mm for 80 mm; derived from that rule as the catalog states it). Standard-rail E tolerance +/-0.5 mm.
- Numbers only, no CAD files: the rail and block cross-sections are not dimensioned in the catalog. For STEP use HIWIN's CAD configurator (linked under sources).
- Left out: EGW flange blocks, EGH 35, EGR20 / 25 large-hole rails and the EG standard-counterbore D, h, d (not legible), moments, load ratings and weights, the QE series.
