Notes

  • The handlebar and frame tube diameters (what a cup holder, phone mount or hook clamps to) are not published; they come with the scan.
  • The PIPA series (PIPA, PIPA rx, PIPA urbn, PIPA aire) is Nuna's infant car seat line; it rides on Nuna strollers with ring adapters. The carry handle is the object people want to clip toys, covers and mirrors to.
  • A measured Xem scan is planned; until then this page carries only the published numbers and no geometry.
  • Safety: a child car seat's harness, buckle, tongues and chest clip are crash-tested as part of the seat. NHTSA advises that aftermarket products are not recommended for use with car seats unless made or allowed by the car seat's maker, and Transport Canada reports that child-restraint makers advise that no third-party aftermarket products be used with their seats. Geometry here is for reference and for accessories that do not touch the restraint system. It is not for replacement or modified buckles, harness or chest-clip parts, and nothing should attach to or change the harness or buckle.

Questions

What diameter is the Nuna PIPA rx infant car seat handlebar?

The maker does not publish it. A measured scan is planned; until then measure the bar where your part will sit.

What are the Nuna PIPA rx infant car seat dimensions?

seat (L × W × H): 25.2 × 17.5 × 23 in; seat weight: 7.6 lb without canopy and insert (about 1 lb more with them).

Can I make a replacement buckle, chest clip or harness part from this?

No. The harness, buckle and chest clip are tested with the seat; NHTSA advises against aftermarket products on car seats, and Transport Canada reports that seat makers do too.
