Spherical plain bearings GE..E (GE6E to GE30ES): bore, outside diameter, widths, ball diameter, tilt angle + STEP/STL

What are the dimensions of GE6E, GE8E, GE10E, GE12E and GE15ES spherical plain bearings: bore, outside diameter, widths and tilt angle? · Standard part · basis: INA GE..-DO table via Ignera; Kinex and Emerson agree; McMaster-Carr rod-end listing linked for CAD

Also called: ge6e dimensions, ge8e dimensions, ge10e dimensions, ge12e dimensions, ge15es dimensions, ge16es dimensions, ge20es dimensions, ge25es dimensions, ge30es dimensions, spherical plain bearing 10mm, ge10e 10x19x9, ge12e 12x22x10, ge8e 8x16x8, ball joint bearing 12mm, iso 12240-1 e series, spherical bearing step file

Exact dimensions. Every file is drawn at true size with no tolerance added. The holes and pins that meet another part are listed below under Mating features, with the fit each joint needs; open those by your process's clearance before making the part. Mating features

Notes

  • GE..E (E series, ISO 12240-1) spherical plain bearings: a steel ball with a bore inside a steel outer ring, free to swivel in all directions; the ball is wider than the ring (B > C). They sit in rod ends, pivots and linkages. 'E' = standard series; the source table is the DO (maintenance-free) variant, listed with the E / ES names.
  • Numbers: INA's GE..-DO table (d, D, B, C, dK, α); Kinex agrees on every row and adds the 5 mm size; Emerson Bearing confirms spot sizes. The 5 mm row (GE5E) is Kinex only. Tolerances (INA, same numbers): d 0 / −0.008 mm up to 17 mm, 0 / −0.01 mm for 20 to 30 mm; D 0 / −0.008 mm to 0 / −0.011 mm; B 0 / −0.12 mm; C 0 / −0.24 mm.
  • Files: 10 solids (GE6E to GE30ES) as ball + outer ring fused: the ball dK cut to width B with the bore d, the ring D × C with its inner surface following the ball sphere. This is an envelope: the working gap, lube groove and slot are not drawn, and because the ball touches the ring it is one solid and does not swivel in the CAD.
  • Left out: GE..-FO, GE..-LO, GE..-UK and maintenance-free liners, wide series GEG / GEH, load ratings, inch sizes.
