Button head socket screws, M2–M8 (ISO 7380)
How big is an M3 button head screw head? · Hardware · basis: ISO 7380-1
- sizes
- 7 in table
Notes
- Low domed head for appearance; no counterbore needed. Head diameter ≈ 1.9 × thread, head height ≈ 0.55 × thread.
- Smaller hex than a cap screw of the same thread (M3 uses 2 mm, M6 uses 4 mm), so torque lower; fine for plastic parts.
