Notes

  • Woodworking joint drawn for 3D printing: the parts lock together by shape, so a print can be joined without glue or screws. Drawn at true size with the parts line to line (zero gap) in their assembled position — add your printer's fit allowance to the mating faces (your AI or slicer can do this).
  • A hex pocket the size of an ISO 4032 M6 nut (10 mm across flats, 5.2 mm thick) with the screw hole through: the standard way to put a metal thread in a print.
  • Drawn at the nut's true size: add your printer's allowance to the pocket (often 0.2–0.4 mm on the flats) so the nut drops in.
