Ring tongue terminals by stud size and wire gauge: W and L for #2 to 3/4 in studs, 26-24 to 12-10 AWG (TE table)
How wide and long is a crimp ring terminal for a #6, #8, #10, 1/4, 5/16 or 3/8 stud and 22-18, 16-14 or 12-10 AWG wire? · Standard part · basis: TE Connectivity (AMP) ring tongue table: every row grouped by wire range and stud; ring hole and OD not in the copy read; fork/spade not tabulated; McMaster-Carr linked for CAD

Notes
- A ring tongue terminal is crimped on a wire and bolted to a stud. TE's ring tongue table is organised by wire range and stud size, and prints W and L for each part number (inches and mm). The table here groups all 91 rows by wire range and stud and shows the smallest and largest W and L among the parts listed for that pair (several parts share a stud and wire range: insulated and uninsulated, different barrel styles). mm = inch × 25.4; the source's own mm column agrees to rounding.
- Not in this table: the ring's hole diameter and outside diameter (the copy read has no hole or ring-OD column), insulation sleeve diameters and the barrel dimensions. The C dimension ('from the edge of the wire barrel to the centre of the stud hole') appears in a second TE ring table whose columns could not be assigned, so it is not given. Use the stud size as the hole selector and measure the ring if you need to cut a clearance for it.
- Wire ranges (AWG with mm² as printed): 26-24 (0.12-0.24), 26-22 (0.12-0.41), 24-20 (0.16-0.65), 22-16 (0.26-1.65), 16-14 (1.04-2.62), 12-10 (2.62-6.64).
- Fork (spade) terminals: no published fork/spade table with readable columns was reached, so they are not tabulated. McMaster-Carr's fork connector and spade connector categories (with free STEP/IGES per part) are linked below. FASTON-type quick-connect tabs are on the companion page.
- No files: ring outside and hole diameters are not published in the table read.

Questions
How wide is a 1/4 in stud ring terminal for 16-14 AWG?
W 11.91 mm (0.469 in) and L 27.38 mm (1.078 in) for the parts in TE's table.
How wide is a #10 ring terminal for 12-10 AWG?
W 7.92 to 9.53 mm and L 26.57 to 27.51 mm across the parts listed.
Does the table give the ring hole size?
No; the copy read has W and L only. Choose by stud size.
