Notes

  • Series 93 is a round, threaded-barrel push-to-close latch: a Ø25.5 mm hole, the body goes through the door and a 1"-20 nut (32 mm across flats) clamps it. The door is pushed shut on a keeper on the frame and the cam latches; a pull tab or key opens it. Mounting hole Ø25.5 mm (+0.3 / −0). Keeper: two M3 or No. 6 screws (not supplied); with the adjustable keeper not used the frame location is 16 ±1.5 mm, or 24 ±1.5 mm for the alternate position. Replacement keeper 93-14-101-24. Maximum nut torque 7.9 N·m (70 in·lbf); maximum working load 530 N (120 lbf).
  • Maximum door thickness is 10.3 mm for the pull-tab styles (93-303, 93-304, 93-313, 93-314) and 12.7 mm for latch only (93-307, 93-308). Accessories: pull tab in line 93-21-301-14, perpendicular 93-21-322-14, ejector spring 93-22-302-18, keys PK-10-01 and PK-10-01-05.
  • Left out: the labelled body dimensions A, B, C and G (the text export does not tie them to features), the keeper hole spacing (printed as 9.5 ±0.2 mm without saying between which holes) and the cam diameters, so the part is not drawn.
  • The E4 family (plastic snap-in push-to-close latches) is listed by panel thickness only: E4-10-103-10 1.8–2.0 or 2.9–3.2 mm; E4-10-104-10 4.6–4.9 or 6.2–6.5 mm; E4-10-101-10 8.1–8.6 mm; E4-10-201-10 1–3 mm and E4-10-202-10 3–5 mm (the two large ones).
  • No file: the makers' text pages print the body, flange, plunger and strike-plate drawing numbers without naming the feature each one measures, and the outline is not stated in words, so nothing is drawn. A plain cylinder for the bore would not be the part.
