- A hold-down toggle clamp is a lever linkage that locks over centre: the handle closes the clamp bar onto the work and a threaded spindle (the holding screw) sets the stroke. Series rows give the maximum holding capacity and the metric / inch spindle thread the series accepts; model rows give the dimensions one product page prints.
- Series values come from DESTACO's catalogue (Torvigo copy) and are confirmed by the 2002, 207 and 247 / 267 data sheets for capacity and spindle thread. Capacities print as N with lbf in brackets. The 247 sheet prints 4400 N once and 4450 N (HC1) in its dimension table for the same 1000 lbf; the catalogue and Monroe's 1000 lbf agree on the lbf figure. Monroe prints '3600 N' next to 1000 lbf for the 247-U, which does not match; it is shown as printed and not used.
- Spindle thread: M5 or #10 (201), M6 or 1/4 (202, 2002), M8 or 5/16 (207), M10 or 3/8 (210), M12 or 1/2 (247), M16 or 5/8 (267) are the accessory spindles the catalogue lists. The 201-U and 207-U product pages print only a spindle part number. The 202-U dealer page prints 1/4-20.
- Dimensions per model: the 201-U and 207-U values are DESTACO's product pages (inches as printed). Monroe's 215-U and 247-U pages print inch and mm pairs that differ slightly (2.25 in is 57.15 mm, printed 58.00; 2.00 in is 50.8 mm, printed 51.20), so both numbers are shown as printed. Good Hand holding capacity is the Misumi listing (kg); the Misumi and Good Hand catalogue weights for GH-201-A disagree (0.03 kg against 40 g), so no Good Hand weight is shown.
- Left out: the mounting-base hole pattern (hole diameter, spacing, number). DESTACO's data sheets show hole callouts on drawings that the extracted text does not tie to model or dimension (for example 2002 and 202: Ø5.6 appears on the drawing), and the Good Hand catalogue likewise prints unlabelled diameters. McMaster-Carr's page lists hole counts of 1 to 8, hole diameters from 1/16 in to 2-1/2 in, capacities from under 1000 lb to 10 000 lb and spindle threads from 6-32 to 7/8-9 as filter ranges only. Get the hole pattern from the maker's drawing.
