Tri-clamp half gasket for a clamped leaf or rim: 2 in, web 0.6 or 0.45
How do I seal a flat plate clamped in a tri-clamp joint? · Hardware · basis: ISO 2852 Type B section split at the joint plane: bead into one face's 1.6 recess with the Type B's 0.3 squeeze, web so that two webs and the plate make the 1.7 joint

Notes
- Two of them sandwich a flat plate (a flexure leaf, the liner's rim) in a 2 in joint: each bead fills its ferrule's recess, each web lies on its land, the plate between the webs. Web 0.6 for a 0.5 plate, 0.45 for a 0.8 plate: 0.6 + 0.5 + 0.6 = 0.45 + 0.8 + 0.45 = 1.7, the Type B web, so the clamp closes as usual.
- Ratings, as facts: the gasket must be rated above the relief setting (15 bar gauge) at its temperature; helium permeates silicone faster than PTFE; PTFE cold-flows under sustained load and heat. Cut or ordered to this drawing.

Questions
Why not a Type B gasket each side?
Two full gaskets plus the plate would be 1.7 + 1.7 + plate: too thick for the clamp to close.
