Transfer tee for 4 × 6 mm tube
What joins the two cylinders of an alpha Stirling engine? · Hardware · basis: Sockets at the 6 mm OD of 4 × 6 tube (fit: press), flow bores at its 4 mm ID

Notes
- A tee with a Ø10 body: the run along X with port faces 13 mm either side of the centre, the branch at right angles with its port face 13 mm out.
- Each port is a Ø6 socket 8 deep: the 6 mm OD of 4 × 6 tube pushes in (fit: press) until it bottoms 5 mm from the centre. Ø4 flow bores, the tube's ID, join the three socket floors.
- Same ports as the transfer elbow; the tee joins three lines (hot cylinder, cold cylinder and a third line such as a gauge).

Questions
What size tube does the transfer tee take?
4 × 6 tube: the 6 mm OD goes into Ø6 sockets 8 deep (fit: press); the Ø4 flow bores match the tube's ID.
What turns a transfer line through 90°?
The transfer elbow, with the same Ø6 × 8 sockets; the two-syringe alphas on this site use elbows between their tips.
