  • Millimetres unless marked. DIN 137 wave (curved) spring washers: bore d1, outside diameter d2, thickness s, free height h min / max, for the thread the washer suits. Westfield notes the standard has been withdrawn without a direct replacement, but the washers are still made to it. Type B is tabulated M3 to M36 with a thickness tolerance (H14 on the bore, js16 on the OD per Westfield). ITA prints one table for 'A / B' with the same numbers as Westfield's type B for every size M3 to M36 (and Olander's M3 DIN 137 B: ID 3.2, OD 8, thickness 0.5, height 0.8 to 1.6, in agreement).
  • Disagreement: Westfield's type A table (M1.4 to M10) has different, smaller values for the same thread (M3 type A: OD 6, thickness 0.4, height 0.65 to 1.3; type B / ITA: OD 8, 0.5, 0.8 to 1.6). Both are shown with the source named; ITA does not separate A from B.
  • Bearing wave washers (ITA WB series, thickness ±0.1) fit between a bearing's outer ring and housing shoulder to preload it; the table gives the outside diameter De and inside diameter di limits and thickness T for the bearing type listed. ITA's load and height-at-load columns are not reproduced.
  • Smalley's multi-turn crest-to-crest wave springs are made in many sizes (catalogue tables by part number were not readable); one real part is shown as printed: CS075-L4, bore 0.750 in, shaft clearance 0.550 in, thickness 0.008 in, free height 0.500 in (reference), 3.5 waves per turn, 6 turns, 2 shims. No Smalley table, so no series is claimed.
  • No files: the wave amplitude profile (number of waves, crest shape) is not published as numbers in any table read, so a model would be invented. Conical forms: conical-spring-washers-din-6796. McMaster-Carr sells wave washers with per-part STEP; linked, not copied.
