DIN-rail terminal blocks Phoenix UT, ST and UK: width per pole 5.2 / 6.2 / 8.2 / 10.2 mm, height on the rail, wire range, strip length
How wide is a DIN-rail terminal block per pole, and what wire does a UT 2,5, UT 4, ST 2,5 or UK 5 N take? · Standard part · basis: Phoenix Contact datasheets for nine feed-through blocks (UT, ST and UK families) as hosted by Farnell, Chipdip, corys.co.nz and phoenixcontact.com; numbers only
Also called: ut 2,5 terminal block width, phoenix ut 4 dimensions, st 2,5 terminal block width 5.2 mm, din rail terminal block dimensions, terminal block width per pole, uk 5 n width 6.2 mm, ut 10 terminal height ns 35, phoenix contact 3044076 dimensions, 3031212 st 2,5 height, terminal block wire range 2.5 mm2 4 mm2 6 mm2 10 mm2, din rail terminal block 5.2 mm, ut 6 8.2 mm, end cover width terminal block

Notes
- Width per pole read from the sheets: 5.2 mm (2.5 mm2 class: UT 2,5, ST 2,5), 6.2 mm (4 mm2 class: UT 4, ST 4, UK 5 N), 8.2 mm (6 mm2 class: UT 6, ST 6) and 10.2 mm (10 mm2 class: UT 10, UK 10 N). A block's end cover adds 2.2 mm (UT / ST) or 1.8 mm (UK). A row of n blocks measures n x width plus one end cover.
- Heights are shown on the rail the sheet names: NS 35/7,5 (7.5 mm deep DIN rail) and NS 35/15 (15 mm). The UT sheets also print a single 'height 46.9' without a rail; the UK 5 N sheet prints one height (42.5) and its depth on each rail. The columns follow each sheet; 'length' is what Phoenix prints as length (47.7 for UT, 42.5 for UK 10 N) and is not the same measurement across families. Rail dimensions are on din-rail-35mm.
- Wire range, strip length and nominal current / voltage are as printed in the sheet's connection data. The UT 6 BU and UT 10 sheets list the end cover as the D-UT 2,5/10 cover (2.2 mm). The ST 2,5 sheet prints the flexible AWG maximum as 14 in one table and 12 in another; both are noted. Ratings are the sheet's nominal values, not a design limit for your installation.
- Not read: UT 16, ST 10, ST 16, UK 2,5 N, UK 6 N, UK 16 N and the other variants (double-level, PE, fused). The 'width per pole' sequence above is read from the nine families listed; it is not asserted for blocks not read.
- No file: the block outline (latch, foot, screw access) is not published as numbers in the sheets. Phoenix publishes per-part STEP on its product pages (linked, not copied).
