Panel cutouts: IEC inlet, rockers, barrel jack, USB-C, HDMI, LEDs, Neutrik D
What size cutout does an IEC C14 power inlet need? · Hardware · basis: Manufacturer drawings for the common enclosure parts (IEC 60320 C14, KCD1/KCD4 rockers, DC-022 jack, Neutrik D-series); each file is a 2 mm test plate with the cutout
- sizes
- 11 in table
Notes
- IEC C14 snap-in: 27.5 × 19.5 mm (some drawings 27.4 × 19.4) in a 1–1.5 mm panel; screw-mount C14 adds two Ø3.2 holes on 40 mm centres. C13 outlets are larger: 30.5 × 22.5.
- KCD1 rocker (the 15 × 21 mm face): 19 × 13 mm cutout, 1–3 mm panel. KCD4 (big illuminated rocker): 30 × 22 mm.
- DC-022 panel barrel jack: Ø8 mm hole, M8 thread, panel to 3 mm. 5 mm LED: Ø5.1 press fit. Neutrik D-series (XLR, USB, HDMI, RJ45 modules): Ø24 with two Ø3.2 screw holes 24 mm apart.
- Print the test plate before cutting the enclosure; the cutout's clearance is included.
